The Outdoorgirlz bike base is situated in Oakley Park just 10 mins from the market town of Llanidloes, Powys. We can arrange for you a variety of local accommodation depending on your requirements.
You do not have to worry about storing your bike or drying your clothing as Outdoorgirlz takes care of all your equipment & bike needs for you.
The accommodation is hand picked for their warm & friendly welcome and high standards, plus they are as green and eco friendly in their approach as possible. If you do not see what you require just let us know and we will endeavour to find suitable accommodation for you.
Squirrels Nest – Exclusive use B&B, evening meal available
Next to the Outdoorgirlz bike base so very handy. Have a satisfying breakfast whilst looking out at the fantastic views across Llyn Ebyr and onto the rolling hills. Relaxed and comfortable single storey accommodation with three twin bedrooms, bathroom, spacious sitting room with log burner, large well equipped kitchen with big kitchen table. It can sleep up to six but no matter what the party size you will have exclusive use.
Exclusive use £25 pppn B&B, min 2 persons & max 6 persons. Discount for group of six £20 pppn B&B. Optional two course evening meal £12 per person.
Plasnewydd Bunkhouse – Self Catering
Plasnewydd bunkhouse was opened in July 2008. It offers spectacular views over the mid-Wales countryside but is still close to the historic town of Llanidloes were you can find plenty of places to eat and drink.
It can accommodate up to 23 people in two large dormitories and one family room. There is a well equipped kitchen and large communal area.
For large groups they charge £403 per night for exclusive use of the bunkhouse which roughly equates to £17.50 per person per night if all the beds are full. For smaller groups they charge from £18 per person per night.
Dwr y Felin Eco Log Cabins , Carno – Self Catering
They offer eco friendly accommodation and provide the highest standard of luxury in all their cabins. All cabins sleep 6 comfortably in two double rooms and one twin room, Spring water on tap, Electricity and heating provided, Linen and towels included, Steam sauna showers, Fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher plus washer dryer, Hot tub.
Cledan Tipis, Carno – Self Catering
They aim to provide high quality low impact tipi camping breaks for families and couples. All you need to bring is your bedding and food and drink. Prices start from £75 per night two people sharing.
Plas Bwlch Farm, Llangurig - B&B non exclusive use
Their Bed and Breakfast accommodation is rated 3 star with the Welsh Tourist Board and comprises of a double room and a twin room, both en-suite. Visitors are assured of a peaceful stay as the guest rooms are all situated on the lower ground floor one double and one twin room. £26 per night pp.
Cilhaul Farmhouse, Trefeglwlys – B&B non exclusive use
Beautifully situated working farm set in the secluded countryside of Mid Wales. Traditional old farmhouse with oak beams and character throughout. Three rooms available May to Nov prices from £25 to £30 – Evening meal available.

Wood House Farm & Nature Reserve, St Harmon
Woodhouse Farm offers Camping and Caravanning, Tipi rental on the farm, and Bunkhouse accommodation, set in the most beautiful and peaceful surroundings to be found anywhere. Prices from £3.50 for camping - £15 for Bunkhouse & £13 for caravan.
Reditreks Bunkhouse, Machynlleth
Situated in the centre of Machynlleth, surrounded by the local amenities, the bunkhouse is affordable, cosy and fully equipped with everything you need to ensure a very enjoyable stay.Upstairs there is 3 bedrooms and can sleep up to 16 people. All are spacious, carpeted and centrally heated. Pillowcases and sheets are provided and they also offer a duvet and cover at a small extra cost for those travelling light. Downstairs are a fully equipped kitchen, dining and cosy seating area with T.V and DVD. Leading off from the hall are the men's and women's shower rooms / toilets and a drying room.
Outside the bunkhouse is a patio area with BBQ facility, equipment washing area, and lockable shed for equipment storage and maintenance.
A small campsite adjacent to the bunkhouse has guest access to toilets and showers.
Guests are able to make full use of the local supermarkets, café's, pubs, restaurants, take away's, launderette, bike shop and leisure centre.
